Michem® Lube 182

(Anionic carnauba/paraffin wax emulsion)

Provides slip, release and anti-block properties in a number of applications ranging from wood coatings to being blended with synthetic and natural lattices. It is also a mar and scratch resistant and water repellent additive in varnishes and other coatings. This product is slightly higher in melt point than Michem® Lube 180.

Michem® Prime 4983-40R

(Ethylene acrylic acid dispersion)

Provides outstanding adhesion to metallic and cellulosic substrates and enhances the water, grease, oil and solvent resistance of coatings and adhesives and is a high solids, more economical version of Michem® Prime 4983R. . The adhesion properties of Michem® Prime facilitate its use as a primer for extrusion coatings. Utilizing this "tie coat" functionality, dissimilar materials can be combined to produce a substrate with the unique properties of each material.

Michem® Prime 5931

(Modified ethylene acrylic acid dispersion)

Provides improved adhesion to polyolefin substrates and also exhibits excellent adhesion to paper, metallic and polymeric substrates as well as glass and polyester scrim. It can serve as a tie coat or primer and increases printability on metallic and polymeric substrates. It can be used as a heat sealable coating on most polymeric films, paper and foil.
