Binders

We offer nonwoven binders and textile binders used in the processing of rolled goods manufactured from materials including polypropylene, polyester, nylon and glass.

Michem® Prime co-polymer dispersions are an excellent coating choice for nonwoven fabrics, including polypropylene, polyester, nylon and glass. Surfactant-free Michem® Prime is easy to run on existing resin bonding systems, and offers a number of other advantages:

  • Block resistance
  • Heat sealability
  • High wet strength
  • Full binder strength at low drying temperatures
  • Excellent melt flow
  • Low melting point
  • Radiation stability
  • Excellent efficiency at low add-on levels
