Die Lubricants and Mold Releases

The correct wax emulsions can eliminate the high stress level between a mold and the molded part. Michelman emulsions allow for movement and shrinkage of the part during processing and subsequent temperature fluctuations. In addition, these products enable clean release. Emulsions can be used “neat” or as additives. They are stable in high-temperature environments.
Solvent-free ACqua™ dispersions provide molded metal parts with short- to medium-term corrosion protection.
