Michem® Prime functionalized copolymer dispersions deliver the flexibility, water/chemical resistance and barrier properties of polyethylene in a water-based form. Property enhancements include; excellent clarity, adhesion, lower heat seal temperature, toughness, and crosslinkability.

Usage

As a film former for fiberglass sizing formulations this product is used to reinforce polypropylene. It provides an excellent balance between mechanical properties and color and is suitable for sizings for chopped strands as well as for continuous fiber. As a binder it provides block resistance for soft goods. This product is APE free.
