Michem® Wax micronized waxes enhance the performance of water-based, solventborne and powder coating formulations. Highly efficient, these waxes are used as process aids and improve many coating and ink properties, including: scratch and mar resistance, lubricity, block resistance, release, and matting.

Imparts a print-receptive surface to most substrates to improve the ink transfer and adhesion of HP Indigo Electroinks. It is used in the in-line priming unit available as options on both the WS6000 and WS6600 presses. The primer improves the surface of a wide range of paper substrates, both uncoated and clay-coated of various basis weights, as well as PSA label stocks with paper or polyolefin face-stocks, including textured papers and transparent labelstock. This product possesses good stability to light and is resistant to yellowing.

Application Data
Michem® In-Line Primer 030 is designed specifically for use in the in-line priming unit of an HP Indigo WS6600 printing press. As such, when run as instructed by HP Indigo on paper substrates, the ILP unit will apply the correct amount of primer to achieve optimal ink adhesion and press performance. EZ Cup Viscosity - #3 Cup, 8 - 13 seconds. Do not dilute.
