Michem® Emulsion 11226
Brand Family Overview
Micryl™ waterbased coatings offer water and grease resistance with exceptional flexo runnability. They are applied over ink as protective, rub-resistant finishes, and also used as low-cost, heat-resistant overprints for porous substrates.See more Micryl products.
Useful as an additive in fiberglass sizing formulations used to reinforce polypropylene. This emulsion has a very high molecular weight, similar to a polypropylene coupling agent. The molecular weight enhancement should provide additional properties to the fiberglass, not achieved with standard low molecular weight polypropylenes. Being cationic in nature it should provide better adhesion to the glass fibers when processing and forming.
