Micryl™ waterbased coatings offer water and grease resistance with exceptional flexo runnability. They are applied over ink as protective, rub-resistant finishes, and also used as low-cost, heat-resistant overprints for porous substrates.

Usage

A Kosher approved coating which provides excellent water resistance, moisture barrier, oil/grease resistance, and frozen meat release. When properly applied over a base coat, this repulpable coating is recommended as a replacement for some curtain coated wax applications, poly laminated board, and plastic bags.

Application Data

VaporCoat® 2202 is best applied using a rod coater. If applied over a base coat, excellent performance can be achieved at application rates of 2-3 wet lbs./MSF.

Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Use personal protective equipment as required.
