Michem® Tite 242AF

Brand Family Overview

VaporCoat® recyclable water-based coatings confer high barrier to paper-based packaging and wraps. Most VaporCoat grades are designed for “low MVTR”, to retard water vapor transmission in order to keep perishables fresh, frozen goods intact, or sensitive contents in factory condition. In response to market interest for greater food safety and preservation, additional VaporCoat products can inhibit contaminants ordinarily found in recycled paper from migrating into packaged dry food.

A coating designed to provide a tenacious bond between corrugated and either Surlyn or polyethylene clear skin pack films, firmly trapping the product in between. It can only be glued with hot melt adhesives, except where the coating has been flexo applied and ommitted from areas to be glued.
