Wax Dispersion 40

Brand Family Overview

VaporCoat® recyclable water-based coatings confer high barrier to paper-based packaging and wraps. Most VaporCoat grades are designed for “low MVTR”, to retard water vapor transmission in order to keep perishables fresh, frozen goods intact, or sensitive contents in factory condition. In response to market interest for greater food safety and preservation, additional VaporCoat products can inhibit contaminants ordinarily found in recycled paper from migrating into packaged dry food.

Most effective as a water repellent aid, this dispersion also has some slip and release properties in solvent applications. It is most effective when used in formulations for deck, architectural and industrial coatings.
