Brand Family Overview
VaporCoat® recyclable water-based coatings confer high barrier to paper-based packaging and wraps. Most VaporCoat grades are designed for “low MVTR”, to retard water vapor transmission in order to keep perishables fresh, frozen goods intact, or sensitive contents in factory condition. In response to market interest for greater food safety and preservation, additional VaporCoat products can inhibit contaminants ordinarily found in recycled paper from migrating into packaged dry food.See more VaporCoat products.
Designed primarily for MVTR, it also provides water resistance and some oil and grease resistance. It is gluable with both cold set and hot melt adhesives and is printable with water based inks.
