Fibers & Composites

We manufacture a variety of polymeric dispersions and emulsions used as fiber sizing, carbon fiber sizing, glass fiber sizing, binders and lubricants by fiberglass and other reinforcing fiber manufacturers

The treated fibers are in turn used to manufacture nylon, PBT, high performance, thermoplastic and other reinforced composite products and components such as wind turbines and lightweight reinforced plastic components in the automotive and durable goods markets.

The versatile chemistries we offer help prevent fiber breakage during forming, processing, and post processing and are specifically designed to facilitate processing, ease handling and optimize properties in various matrixes.

Michem® Emulsion 91735, a sizing polymer for reinforcing fiberglass and other fibers.
Hydrosize PA845, a fiber sizing for fiber reinforced nylon composites
Hydrosize U2022 Polyurethane Dispersion, a high strength sizing for glass and carbon chopped fiber
Hydrosize U6-01 Solution, a polyurethane for fiber sizing
