Digital Printing
For most substrates, Indigo inks will only adhere properly with the help of a primer. DigiPrime® primer improves ink receptivity, rub resistance and image quality on most types of paper and film. As a 100% aqueous product, it is safer for operators and the environment than alternatives, and does not yellow over time. Ninety percent of digital printers use HP-recommended DigiPrime®.
Properties That Affect Digital Printing
DigiGuard® Gloss 100: DigiGuard® Gloss 100 is a heat resistant, glossy overprint varnish.
DigiGuard® Gloss 110: DigiGuard® Gloss 110 is a high gloss, temperature resistant, water based overprint varnish which meets FDA food contact requirements.
DigiGuard® Gloss 115: DigiGuard® Gloss 115 is an overprint varnish with good resistance to heat and a low coefficient of friction. It has good adhesion to most packaging films and inks and can help protect the print from damage. It can be used in demanding applications where ease of slip over hot surfaces is required - for example in vertical form, fill and seal packaging.
