Concrete

Unprotected concrete is susceptible to damage from the weather, equipment, vehicles and humans. A barrier or surface modifier incorporated into concrete coatings and sealers reduces or eliminates these negative effects.

Surface modifiers improve the resistance of finished concrete to water, scuff, abrasion, stains, graffiti and hot tire pickup. They can be used as curing membranes applied to freshly poured concrete to control and optimize cure rates. Surface modifiers are also added to “cure and seal” formulations that act as both a curing membrane and long-lasting barrier coating.

Water-based additives help manufacturers enhance product performance while meeting changing regulatory requirements.
