DigiGuard® Digital Printing Overprint Varnish

Digital printer overprint varnishes are used to enhance appearance and protect printed materials. Our varnishes are applied in liquid form over the digital print and then require some form of drying or curing. During this process, the liquid overprint varnish hardens and then offers protection against physical and chemical damage.

We offer a number of HP-recommended overprint varnish designed specifically for the HP Indigo press, as well as other digital presses:

DigiGuard® Gloss 100 and DigiGuard® Gloss 110 are water-based overprint varnishes that feature high temperature resistance, improved gloss, and high abrasion resistance on printed materials. Ideal for treating paper, PE, PET and PP films, DigiGuard® 110 is also suitable for food contact applications on flexible packaging, as it meets FDA food contact requirements.

DigiGuard® Gloss 100: DigiGuard® Gloss 100 is a heat resistant, glossy overprint varnish.

DigiGuard® Gloss 110: DigiGuard® Gloss 110 is a high gloss, temperature resistant, water based overprint varnish which meets FDA food contact requirements.
