United Way of Cincinnati Recognizes Michelman's Commitment to Giving

Giving back to our local communities is an important value at Michelman. We actively encourage our associates to give their time, talents, and treasures to their local communities. We coach, teach, mentor, and empower team members to support giving back initiatives. The results are gratifying – and our local communities notice. Here are some recent awards earned in the Cincinnati region. 

Changemakers Award

This year the United Way of Cincinnati honored Michelman with a Changemakers Award reflecting the substantial commitment Michelman makes annually to encourage our associates to volunteer at various charitable organizations.

 

We sponsor an annual Commitment to Community Day at each of our locations across the world. During this day, normal operations are ceased and our associates spread out to local charitable organizations to lend a hand in activities spanning from light construction to gardening to preparing personal care kits for those in need. In addition, throughout the year, we provide support and resources to individual associates who support local charities on an individual basis.

Workplaces That Care

Michelman provides financial support to the United Way through our annual fundraising campaign. Top 25 Campaigns recognizes the Top 25 Partners with the highest total giving levels. Companies recognized as Top 25 Partners serve as role models and help create a caring culture among their associates while encouraging their employees to support their local communities. Michelman was recognized as #17 in the Top 25 Partners.
