Michelman Associates Volunteer Globally During 15th Annual Commitment to Community Day

Michelman associates around the globe came together in early September 2026 for our 15th annual Commitment to Community Day. Stepping away from daily work in our offices, labs, and plants, employees were able to dedicate the day to volunteering with local nonprofit organizations.

In the United States, teams volunteered at YMCA Camp Ernst, New Life Furniture Bank, United Way of Greater Cincinnati, The Freestore Foodbank, Gorman Heritage Farm, Last Mile Food Rescue, Inc., Great Parks, People Working Cooperatively, Inc., Easterseals Redwood, and Brick Gardens. Activities included landscaping, facility clean-up, fence painting, trail maintenance, prepared food distribution, furniture renovations, home maintenance, and care package preparation.

In Europe, teams supported La Petite Plante, Fondation Kräizbierg, École Libre de Saint-Léger, École Fondamentale Libre “La Petite Cigale”, ASBL Le Fourneau David/Les Iris,  École Libre Ethe-Saint-Mard, La Maison du Pain, ASBL IMP “La Providence”,  and Tricentenaire Groupe. Employees pitched in to help with gardening, light repairs and construction at schools, painting, and other facility improvement projects.

Across Asia, associates in India distributed school supplies at an elementary school in Mumbai, Shree Siddhivinayak Vidyanidhi Shishu Mandir, in Singapore team members distributed grocery packs to 546 housing units supporting the work of the South West Community Development Council, and the Shanghai team collected marine debris and non-degradable plastic waste along the coast near the Huangpu River estuary.
