CINCINNATI, OH (June 6, 2011) – Michelman has strengthened its paper coatings team with the hiring of Mr. Martin Scott as Territory Manager, Asia Pacific. Mr. Scott is based in Singapore and will be responsible for Asian sales and customer support, serving Michelman’s regional paper coating customers. He is tasked with helping new and existing customers expand their sustainable initiatives and business opportunities through application of Michelman’s repulpable water-based coating technologies.
Mr. Scott has 25 years of experience in a variety of sales, marketing, technical and business development roles with companies serving the paper and board industry in Europe and Asia. His strong and relevant background includes positions with Synthomer UK, AVEBE Singapore, and BASF Singapore. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Durham, England.
