CINCINNATI, OH (August 22, 2014) – To support its continued growth and expansion in the Asia Pacific region, Michelman has hired Mr. Richard Yang as its new Regional Sales Manager, Asia-Pacific, Chemical Specialties, and Country Manager, China.
Mr. Yang will be responsible for growth initiatives and strategic planning in this critical region, and will direct the company’s Asia Pacific sales team, including agents and distributors. Yang will serve on Michelman’s Chemical Specialties and Asia Pacific Leadership teams, and will work closely with the company’s regional and global Marketing & Technology teams. He will work out of Michelman’s Shanghai offices.
Mr. Yang brings over twenty years of experience, most recently serving as Regional Business Manager, Asia Pacific, at Honeywell. He is a naturalized Australian citizen and holds both a Master of Management from Macquarie Graduate School of Management in Australia and a Bachelor of Engineering, with specialty in Polymer Material, from the Shanghai Jiaotong University in Shanghai, China.
