CINCINNATI, OH (June 26, 2012) – Michelman expanded its Fibers & Composites Business Unit with the addition of two high caliber professionals with extensive industry experience. Michelman’s Fibers & Composites Global Business Unit manufactures a variety of polymeric dispersions and emulsions used as fiber sizing, carbon fiber sizing, glass fiber sizing, binders and lubricants by fiberglass and other reinforcing fiber manufacturers.
Mr. Gilles Le Moigne joined the company as Global Sales Manager - Fibers & Composites. Mr. Le Moigne will be directly responsible for managing Michelman’s European sales team, with sales teams in America and Asia also reporting to him. He will be based in Michelman’s Luxembourg offices.
Mr. Le Moigne has extensive experience in the fibers and composites industry having held positions at Porcher Industries and SGL Carbon. He holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering with a concentration in composite materials from Savoie University in Chambery, France.
Ms. Valérie Marx joined the company as a Marketing Associate - Fibers & Composites. Ms. Marx will be responsible for providing a host of marketing services that support the Fibers & Composites Global Business Unit and its global growth strategy. She will be based in Michelman’s offices in Capellen, Luxembourg.Marx brings a diverse set of skills to Michelman with more than 10 years of experience as a Marketing Manager in the composites, bonding and tooling industries, most recently with Airtech Europe SARL. She speaks French, German and English, and holds degrees in International Business, European Business and German Language.
