CINCINNATI, OH (July 26, 2018) – Michelman will be a Gold Partner sponsor at Packaging 360 Outreach: Innovation in Food & Beverage Packaging, while Mr. Shailesh Nema, Vice President and Managing Director at Michelman India will be presenting. The event is taking place in Bengaluru, India on July 27, 2018 at the Taj Vivanta, Yeshwantpur.
Packaging 360 is a comprehensive knowledge sharing ecosystem for the Indian packaging industry. The upcoming conference will focus on innovations in the fresh and processed package food and beverage industry, and will allow attendees to network, share knowledge and expertise, and learn from expert presenters.
Mr. Nema, who has been closely associated with the packaging industry for over two decades in India, the Middle East and Southeast Asia will do a presentation entitled “Innovation in Flexible Packaging.” He will discuss Michelman India’s mission to provide the packaging industry all the tools necessary to innovate in a dynamic and evolving flexible packaging market. In his presentation Mr. Nema will discuss how companies can comply with Plastic Waste Management and other regulations; offer greener and environmentally friendly solutions; evaluate new technologies; prototype innovative structures; accelerate the concept-to-commercialization cycle; and achieve cost efficiency through the use of the Michelman Innovation Centre for Coatings (MICC).
The MICC, located at Michelman India’s Mumbai offices, is a sustainable packaging incubator strategically designed to serve the needs of India and its surrounding markets to allow for fast, efficient development of sustainable packaging solutions. Through a combination of dedicated materials and application labs; ample opportunity for collaborative innovation; and an infusion of water-based technology, all members of the packaging value chain have access to the tools needed to achieve innovative and sustainable solutions for the natural environment and their business.
