CINCINNATI, OH (February 21, 2008) – ThermaGloss® 460 is a water-based, heat resistant overprint varnish that produces high gloss, low odor, and excellent dry rub resistance. It is ideal for use on corrugated preprint liner or other packaging where high temperature processing would typically cause conventional OPVs to pick, soften, or smear. In corrugated applications, its superior heat resistance eliminates the need for hotplate temperature reduction, allowing normal hotplate temperatures.Typical applications include retail packaging, POP displays and for ink protection. Michelman offers a variety of ThermaGloss formulations available for special needs such as high angle of skid and FDA compliance.About MichelmanMichelman is a global manufacturer of performance-enhancing barrier, functional, and decorative coatings for flexible film packaging, paperboard, and corrugated boxes; and additives and modifiers for many industries including coatings, inks, composites, and construction products.Michelman Global Headquarters9080 Shell RoadCincinnati, OH 452361-800-333-1723 (US & Canada); (513) 793-7766 (Worldwide)(513) 793-2504 (Fax)www.michem.comMichelman will be exhibiting at the following trade shows:Drupa – Dusseldorf, Germany (May 29 – June 11, 2008) – See in the HP BoothAmerican Coating Show – (June 2 – 5, 2008)SuperCorrExpo 2008 – Atlanta, GA (September 22 – 26, 2008) – Booth #1817
