Usage

An additive for size press treatments or pigment coatings to optimize substrates for HP Indigo printability. At suggested addition rate, it shows reduced dryer can buildup and excellent runnability at the size press. This treatment provides improved HP Indigo Electroinks adhesion and superior blanket compatibility.

Application Data

DigiPrime® 1600 is intended to be added to size press treatments. It is important to determine compatibility and viscosity requirements when mixed with cooked starch and any other additives prior to running on the size press. Dilute primer with soft water to required solids. Recommend usage ratio of 3 parts starch to 1 part primer. Target coat weight of 0.6 to 0.8 dry gsm of the DigiPrime® 1600.
