CINCINNATI, OH (February 25, 2013) – Michelman, a leader in the manufacture of polymeric dispersions and emulsions used as fiber sizings, binders and lubricants by fiberglass and other reinforcing fiber manufacturers has hired Mrs. Federica Galli as New Business Development Manager – Fibers & Composites. In her new position, Mrs. Galli will assist existing and prospective Michelman customers with fiber and composite related application and technical challenges. She will be based out of Michelman’s Luxembourg offices.
“With the hiring of a fibers and composites focused New Business Development Manager based in Europe, Michelman is reinforcing its global and local capabilities,” said Dr. Yves De Smet, Michelman’s Global Business Unit Manager – Fibers & Composites. “Filling this position allows us to meet the current and future needs of our customers in a rapidly growing technical fiber market.”
Mrs. Galli has 15 years of experience, with more than 10 years at a leading international company active in the field of composite resins. She has held positions including R&D Manager, Senior Technical Account Manager and, for the last 3 years, New Business Development Manager. She is an industry expert in the field of sizings, binders and composite resins.
Mrs. Galli holds a university degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Pisa (Italy) and an Executive MBA from the MIP School of Management of Milan (Italy).
