CINCINNATI, OH (March 9, 2018) – Michelman is proud to announce that Dr. Molly Hladik, Technical Project Leader at the company, was recently honored with the RadTech President's Award that honors volunteer leadership and service. The award was presented at RadTech’s annual meeting held in Miami in February 2018.RadTech is a nonprofit trade association for ultraviolet and electron beam technologies (UV+EB) and presents the special President's Award each year. "Molly has offered tremendous leadership and support to our UV+EB community for several years," says Lisa Fine, of Joules Angstrom and President of RadTech. "She currently leads our printing and packaging, and technical conference committees, serves on our editorial board, and until recently served on our board of directors."“Dr. Hladik is the embodiment of one of our core values here at Michelman…giving,” said Mr. Steve Shifman, President and CEO at Michelman. “I’m so proud to see Molly recognized by her peers for her leadership skills and generosity. We are a better company with her as part of our team.”As a recognized leader in UV+EB technology, Dr. Hladik leads Michelman’s technical development efforts for high-speed inkjet digital coatings, primers and OPVs for water-based and UV inks. She also serves as an adjunct professor with the State University of New York, College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF). There she helped create a unique online Radiation Curing Program that offers graduate level courses and certification on UV+EB technology. She received her PhD in Chemistry/Polymer Science from the University of Southern Mississippi.
