Leader in Workplace Equity – Ellequate

Ellequate is a third-party certifying organization that relies on data, obtained through anonymous employee surveys, to collect information on workplace satisfaction. Results, as described by Ellequate, “provide a data-driven standard of equity-centered performance. Organizations that are recognized as Leaders in Workplace Equity have demonstrated a readiness and commitment to de-biasing systems and instituting people-first practices that promote employee well-being.” We are proud to have earned a Bronze certification this year.

Great Place To Work® Awards

Great Place To Work® is a third-party, independent organization that relies on a combination of anonymized employee feedback and independent analysis to “recognize employers who create an outstanding employee experience.” We are delighted that in 2023 three of our locations won Great Place To Work® certifications.

Best Workplaces™ Award

Our Singapore office was also recognized as one of Singapore’s Best Workplaces in 2023 by the Great Place To Work® organization. Companies earn this additional award by fostering a corporate culture that is defined by high levels of trust, respect, credibility, fairness, pride, and camaraderie. 

TAFEP Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices Alliance Award

We earned the TAFEP Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices Alliance Award 2023 in the categories of ‘Fair & Progressive Employment Practices’ and ‘Age Inclusive Practices’. As award organizers state, this award is distributed by the Tripartite Partners in Singapore, comprising the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), and Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF). It is presented to organizations that have demonstrated a strong commitment and excellence in building a work environment that enables associates to flourish. The Fair and Progressive Employment Practices award category recognizes organizations with effective workplace and people practices, that proactively support an inclusive culture and consciously build strong employee relations. The Age Inclusive Practices award category showcases organizations that have actively and effectively implemented age-inclusive practices to build an age-diverse workplace, removing barriers to employment.

Michelman was one of just two organizations in Singapore to win the very prestigious Pinnacle Award. This award is reserved for organizations that exhibit both a holistic people strategy as well as practices that go beyond the scope of the Tripartite Alliance Award.
