We have a great opportunity for a Production Manager to join our Manufacturing team based in Singapore. In this role you will lead the production organization, contribute to the realization of the organization’s objectives by good management of production domains/tasks. You will be responsible for producing finished goods, perform quality measures and packaging operations, apply QEHS policy and partake in ISO 9001 management system through managing quality procedures & participate to internal/ external audits, ensure production teams follow safety rules and procedures, escalate hazardous situations and incidents and make improvements proposals in QEHS domains. Additionally, this role is responsible for manufacturing process development of new production process introductions in alignment with our Advance Manufacturing Program.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe and efficient day-to-day operations of the manufacturing floor.

• Build Production teams with team Leaders designation, back up and contingencies.

• Manage temporary needs and work with HR to fulfil open production in production area.

• Supervise, coach and ensure appropriate training of resources to meet the planning demand and cover plant capacity.

• Lead performance review of team leaders and day production operator.

• Allocate and manage staffing resources according to changing needs

• Review Production Processes and identify opportunities for optimization to allow future volume growth

• Responsible on the development and maintenance of capacity planning, participate in S&OP.

• Lead production projects in order to optimize productivity of the staff.

• Ensure high-level housekeeping in production area.

• Track Monthly consumables spend versus budget

• Participate in daily operation huddles to identify issues and set action plan for resolution

• Manage FMB introduction in the plant and 1st production.

• Define production capacity and batch sizes in order to fulfill safety, quality and efficiency requirements for production area

• Work with Quality department to resolve customer complaints and quality issues.

• Manage the maintenance team to ensure minimal downtime for operation team which include Preventive Maintenance and Critical spares inventory management.

• Manage the maintenance annual AOP budget and cost.

• Provide training and development opportunities for operations and maintenance team to enhance skills, knowledge and competency.

• Establish Monthly KPI to track overall performance of Singapore plant

• Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements

• Back up of Plant Manager when needed to cover and ensure day-to-day activities of the plant

• Any other tasks as assigned by the reporting manager as require

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree of Sciences, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience in Project management in Manufacturing environment

• 10+ years of experience working in a similar role at a multi-national corporation or its equivalent
