CINCINNATI, OH (February 20, 2013) – Michelman, a global leader in the manufacturing of print receptive primers for digital printing is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jan Denies as Global Product Manager – Digital Printing. He has been working for Michelman as a digital printing consultant since 2012. In his new role, Mr. Denies will focus on helping existing and prospective customers obtain the best printing results from their digital presses in this fast-moving technology sector.
With over 20 years experience in the printing industry, Mr. Denies has a deep working knowledge of various aspects of the business including commercial, package, label and wide format printing, pre-press, web-to-print and post-press operations. He previously held positions in companies including Kodak and Unibind, and served in various roles including business development, product development and marketing.
Mr. Denies holds a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and economics, and a master’s degree from the University of Hasselt. He will be based out of Michelman’s Luxembourg offices. Please note Mr. Denies will be presenting “Use of primers: How to print on a large variety of substrates with excellent adhesion and good print quality” at the DScoop8 conference in Nashville on February 23, 2013.
