Michem ILP 040 Improves Print Quality on Synthetic Substrates Printed on HP Indigo WS6000 Series Digital Presses

CINCINNATI, OH (September 18, 2012) – Michem In-Line Primer (ILP) 040 is formulated specifically for use on synthetic substrates printed on the HP Indigo WS6000 and WS6600 digital presses. It is HP-recommended and produces a print receptive surface that improves ink transfer and adhesion of HP Indigo Electroinks.

The WS6000 and WS6600 both offer an inline priming station that allows users to prime and print substrates in a single pass. When used as instructed, the unit will apply the right amount of ILP 040 primer, optimizing ink adhesion and press performance, and producing high quality printed output.

The new primer complements Michelman's Michem ILP 030 primer formulated for paper substrates. Michem Clean 1188 cleaning solution and Michem Indicator 001 work seamlessly with both ILP 040 and ILP 030. Michem Indicator is used to detect the presence of primer on dry coated substrates.
